 Vision:
NSD believes that poverty can be alleviated. NSD strives to bring together people from the north and the south to facilitate opportunities in enterprise development. There are four themes within the NSD vision, these include:
- Skills and Vocational Training in Micro and Agro Industry
- Business and Technology Management Diploma Courses
- Micro Finance Products and Service and Institutional Capacity Building
- Private Sector Development

Values:
NSD promotes capacity building through – education, financial support and business advice – in a non-sectarian way.
It encourages greater access to business education, particularly for women and youth.
It operates with empathy for those with limited business opportunity and works with local trainers who implement the programmes in their respective countries.
